Music Lesson

Our music competitions aims to foster a love for music and performing arts in students.
These events build confidence and self-expression through musical exploration and also develop a sense of rhythm and harmony among young students.
Students feel the encouragement, motivation and confidence through these competitions.

Circle Time

Our Circle Time is a vibrant, interactive session fostering social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Through songs, stories, discussions, and activities, students develop essential life skills. We emphasize listening, sharing, cooperation, and problem-solving. Circle Time builds a strong sense of community, encouraging respect and empathy. It’s a fun and engaging way for students to learn and grow together.

Numbers

Understanding numbers is an important skill that kindergarteners need to master. Using rhymes and songs is a fun way of learning numbers and use them in daily tasks. Kids learn better when they are playing with each other. Encourage some healthy competition in the group to motivate them, too. Get them to sit in a circle and take turns counting numbers.

Exercises of Practical Life (EPL)

Practical Life activities are the cornerstone of our kindergarten curriculum. These hands-on experiences help children develop independence, concentration, coordination, and a sense of responsibility. Our program includes exercises like:
Self-care, Care of the environment, Grace and courtesy, Fine motor skills, Gross motor skills.
These activities prepare children for academic learning while fostering a love for learning and contributing to their community.

Dinning Lesson

Our dining lessons focus on building good table manners and healthy eating habits. Students learn:
Etiquette.
Importance of sitting still and using inside voices.
Healthy food choices and trying new foods.
Food safety and hygiene practices.
Sharing and taking turns during mealtimes.
Developing independence in self-feeding.
Enjoying mealtime as a social experience.

Art lesson

Our Early Years Creative Arts curriculum nurtures young minds through exploration and expression. Students engage in hands-on activities that develop fine motor skills, imagination, and aesthetic appreciation. Through diverse mediums like painting, drawing, sculpting, and music, we foster creativity, self-confidence, and a love for artistic expression. Our curriculum emphasizes the process over the product, allowing children to freely experiment and discover their unique artistic skills.

Culture

Our Culture curriculum ignites our students natural wonder about the world. Through hands-on activities and engaging experiments, children develop a basic understanding of the world around them. We focus on exploring the five senses, natural phenomena like weather and seasons, plants and animals, and the importance of caring for our environment. By the end of the year, the child acquires a solid foundation in scientific inquiry and a curiosity for learning more.

Thematic Assembly

Our thematic morning assemblies at LCS serve as a vibrant platform to introduce young minds to diverse concepts.
By integrating themes into our assemblies, we aim to
Ignite a passion for learning by exploring different topics, create a shared learning experience for students, teachers, and parents.
It broaden horizons through exposure to various cultures and traditions, encourage children to express themselves through role plays and performances and

Jolly Phonics

Jolly Phonics focuses on the sounds each letter represents. This builds phonemic awareness, a crucial skill for reading. Students learn through actions, songs, and pictures alongside the letter sounds. This engages multiple senses, enhancing memory and understanding.
Children learn to blend sounds together to form words and segment words into individual sounds. This develops decoding and encoding skills.

Games

Our Kindergarten games curriculum is designed to make learning fun and engaging. Through play, children develop essential skills like problem-solving, creativity, and social interaction. We incorporate a variety of games focusing on physical activity, cognitive development, and language skills. Children will enjoy imaginative play, outdoor games, and structured activities that promote holistic growth and a love for learning.

After School Clubs

Our After School Clubs at LCS provide a safe and stimulating environment for students to explore their interests and develop social skills. It offers extended care and enriching activities beyond the regular school day.
From Crafty Creations club to Robotics Club students learn creativity, fine motor skills, and imagination through hands-on projects.
Students get the introduction of coding, technology, problem-solving, and critical thinking through fun and engaging robotics projects.

Early year’s education plays a crucial role during the developing period of the child and gives a head start towards their bright future. Every child is unique which is why we individually focus on each one. Socializing, playing, and learning in a safe learning environment is what makes our educational process fun.

The colorful thematical resource-rich classrooms deeply inspire our young twinkling stars and promote the love of education. The use of iPads, tabs, and LCDs makes learning innovative. Pre-school teachers are well trained to provide variations to deliver their thematic curriculum.

The warm and nurturing environment of our classrooms where we work for cognitive, social, emotional, and language development to strengthen learning programs. The focus is on phonemic awareness, the child learns each letter of the alphabet has a distinct sound and he or she must master them in order to start reading. Adding on, we also focus on the concepts of Urdu, Grammar, and Numbers. Meetings are organized with parents twice a month to ensure the child’s personality development. Character building activities foster the development of ethical and responsible behavior by teaching individuals about the good values they should have such as honesty, responsibility, and other important traits necessary for being an upstanding citizen.

Gymnastics, aerobics, and different structured games for kids to enhance their physical development. Providing an outlet for kids to develop skills like strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, sportsman spirit, and body control, all while laying a strong foundation for a healthy habit of physical fitness throughout a child’s lifetime.
